Our USA trucking freight service covers the inland leg once a container clears the port — moving cargo from Los Angeles, Long Beach, New York, Savannah, Houston, Seattle, or other gateway ports to the consignee's door, an Amazon FBA warehouse, or a 3PL facility. For importers, Amazon sellers, and procurement managers shipping from China, this is where most delays and surprise charges appear. We coordinate the ocean booking, customs release, and trucking under one file, so your container is picked up, delivered, and documented without gaps. Domestic trucking typically runs 3-7 days depending on lane, appointment availability, and distance; final rates and transit times are confirmed at quotation.

How USA Trucking Freight Service Fits the China-to-USA Chain

Door-to-door shipping from China to the USA is a sequence, and the trucking portion only works when earlier stages hand off cleanly. The chain runs: supplier pickup in China, consolidation at our Shenzhen warehouse, export clearance, ocean freight to the US port, import clearance and duty payment, container pickup, and final delivery by truck. We handle this under DDP terms for US destinations, so the shipper sees one price covering freight, duty, and delivery.

The critical handoff is between port and truck. A container not scheduled for pickup starts accruing demurrage; a missed appointment can push a seasonal SKU past its window. Because we control both the ocean booking and trucking dispatch, we sequence pickup against the actual customs release date rather than a fixed calendar date.

Full Truckload vs Less-Than-Truckload

The two main domestic options differ in cost structure, handling, and risk.

  • Full truckload (FTL): one container or trailer dedicated to your cargo, direct from port to door. Best when you ship 15+ pallets, when cargo is high-value or fragile, or when you need a single sealed move.
  • Less-than-truckload (LTL): your pallets share a trailer with other freight. Cost-effective for smaller volumes, but expect additional handling, terminal transfers, and a longer transit window.
  • Drayage: the short haul from port terminal to a local warehouse or rail ramp. This is a separate cost from long-haul trucking and often where hidden fees appear if not quoted upfront.

For multi-supplier orders consolidated at our China warehouse, we frequently ship LCL to the US port, then move released cargo by LTL to a single address, or split it across consignees when distributing to several FBA locations.

Delivery Appointments, Accessorials, and What to Expect

Most US receivers — including Amazon FBA warehouses and large retail DCs — require a scheduled delivery appointment, booked through carrier portals and often the biggest source of delay. We handle appointment scheduling where the receiver allows third-party booking, and notify you immediately if a facility requires the consignee to book directly.

Accessorial charges are common and should be understood before dispatch. Typical ones include:

  • Detention and demurrage when a container is held beyond free time
  • Liftgate service where no loading dock is available
  • Residential or limited-access delivery surcharges
  • Redelivery fees if a truck arrives and the facility cannot accept the load
  • Storage at our US, UK, and Canada warehouses if delivery must be deferred

We quote accessorials transparently where they can be predicted, and flag the ones that depend on receiver behavior. Certificates available upon request.

Transit Times and Rate Confirmation

Indicative ranges for planning purposes:

LegTypical Transit
Express courier (EMS / TNT / UPS / FedEx / DHL)3-7 days
Air freight China to USA / UK / France / Germany / Italy / Canada5-10 days
Ocean freight China to US West Coast / Europe25-40 days
Rail freight China to UK / France / Germany / Poland / Europe18-25 days
US domestic trucking (port to door)3-7 days

These are ranges, not commitments. Final rates and times are confirmed at quotation, after we review your cargo dimensions, port of discharge, delivery ZIP code, and appointment requirements. Our China warehouse and US, UK, and Canada warehouses support consolidation, labeling, and quality checks before the final mile.

FAQ

Can you arrange delivery to an Amazon FBA warehouse in the USA?

Yes. We coordinate ocean or air freight into the US, clear customs, and truck the shipment to the assigned FBA fulfillment center, including appointment booking where the facility permits carrier-side scheduling.

Do you offer DDP terms for US destinations?

Yes. Door-to-door under DDP is available, covering freight, duties, and delivery so the consignee receives goods without arranging a customs broker or separate carrier. DDU terms are also available. Final terms are confirmed at quotation.

How do you handle container pickup from the port?

Once customs releases the container, we schedule pickup against the terminal's availability and free-time clock, then dispatch drayage to the delivery point or to one of our US warehouses for deconsolidation, limiting demurrage exposure.

What if my shipment is LCL rather than a full container?

LCL cargo is deconsolidated at the destination port or a nearby CFS, then moved to the final address by LTL or a dedicated truck depending on volume and timing. Deconsolidation adds a few days, so factor that into your delivery window.

Can you consolidate multiple suppliers into one US delivery?

Yes. We consolidate from 1688 and Taobao suppliers at our China warehouse, with packing, labeling, and quality checks as needed. Consolidated cargo then moves as one shipment, reducing per-unit freight cost and simplifying the US delivery appointment.
